Giving back is at the heart of Avon—after all, our mission is to celebrate women’s power to create a positive impact in the world. We are proud to support a variety of causes that help people live healthy and beautiful lives. We’re all in this together!

TOYS FOR TOTS 
Marine Toys for Tots works to collect unwrapped toys to distribute to less fortunate children during the holidays. To support the organization’s mission, Avon donated 60,000 toys valued at $2.4 million for the upcoming 2020 holiday season.

BREAST CANCER 
The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade has been at the forefront in the fight against breast cancer for nearly 30 years. Since 1992, Avon has contributed more than $800 million to breast cancer causes, educated 180 million women about breast health and funded breast health screenings for nearly 20 million women.

These contributions are made possible by our sponsorship of Breast Cancer walks and our collection of Pink Hope products. In 2003, the Avon Foundation launched the Avon 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer, a 39-mile walk through Manhattan and Brooklyn. The walk continued for 14 years, with each one garnering thousands of participants and raising millions of. In 2018, Avon became the national presenting sponsor of the American Cancer Society’s ACS Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walks.

Our ongoing collection of Pink Hope products includes our best-selling Avon True Color Nourishing Lipstick and inspirational fashion and jewelry. We continue to donate 15 percent of all proceeds from these items to the American Cancer Society, and up to $700,000 in 2020.

Avon’s support has helped the American Cancer Society fund innovative research, provide education and guidance to help people reduce their risk, and offer comprehensive patient support to those who need it most. Our efforts have also helped provide thousands of rides to and from treatment.

FEED THE CHILDREN 
Since 2004, Avon has proudly partnered with Feed the Children, which works to improve nutrition, hygiene and education in vulnerable communities around the world. Over the last 16 years, Avon has donated over 17 million pounds of personal care, hygiene and beauty products, clothing, shoes and home essentials to families in need.

In March, we donated $2 million of these essential products to Feed the Children in response to COVID-19 to help support communities in need during this unprecedented time.

Our efforts have empowered and impacted nearly 1 million families and 4.4 million women and girls all over the United States.

GYRL WONDER
This year, Avon has partnered with Gyrl Wonder, an organization that empowers young ambitious women of color through social impact, career exploration and objective alignment. Avon has donated over $100,000 worth of essential products to the “gyrls” of Gyrl Wonder to support their pillars of self-care, self-image, empowerment, development and service.

Gyrl Wonder helps young women learn how to reach their personal and professional goals, and successfully enter a competitive workforce. We’re proud to promote female entrepreneurship in the next generation of “gyrl” leaders, and we’re glad to be able to build on our own 135-year legacy of celebrating women’s power to make a beautiful and positive impact in the world.
